Thanks for the kind words chicks, I really appreciate it. Seriously, this is how I view this issue. This is a great forum to share knowledge. Why do you need to come here saying you're 12-1 in your last 13 plays that nobody saw? To get instant recognition? Why? It's a forum. A friendly forum to share your plays, not to con people into following you.

If you truly believe in your ability to handicap, just post what you have and your record will speak for itself. If Stickwithme had simply said "Hi, I'm new to the forum, here are my plays for this weekend". When he came back to post for the following weekend, he'd recieve lots of praise for his great record.

And if you want to tout yourself up, exagerate, and post what may or may not be lies. There's a forum for Sports Services here too.

I agree with Nalordo, I have had some good weekends so far in NFL (in fact went 8 - 0 first weekend posting here), and got a lot of good replies, and have yet to have had a negative word spoken to me, because of the way I believe I post.

If anyone should get a thread like this, it should be Nalordo. No hype, just posts winners. What is he 17-4 or something like that? Plus, its not like he got lucky, and went 8-0 1 day, he has went 17-4 over about a 3 week period posting his best play. Congrats

I agree Jessica.Nalordo does a great job with out all the self hype and I believe has a good following.Other new comers doing very good are BillMill,Jackal.Goodboy doing very good with his 10*& 5* plays. All have not done any self hype and do help make Bettorschat a better forum.

Your doing the same thing with a misleading record. Your record with your demolisher plays aren't 33-4 or whatever you claim they are from another site. If you can do it, why can't a kid like this who can at least hit. This guy proved he came out of the weekend up some nice loot. We don't need the bettorchat police everytime someone comes on and makes a bogus record. Lead by example first Kapt then come back and throw stones. We can tell the difference between scammers and winners....this kid is a winner.

Any capper who wishes to help others win- have at it.
It is not easy to cap 8 games and win. Kudos to Stick with Me and other new cappers - Nalordo-Bill Mill- Jackal and goodboy and several others who have entered and given many a chance to pad their accounts.
Also hear- that there is no main clique on this site- older members who have been around and know each other -yes.No intention but to calm those who can not support their claim upon this or another site. Therefore, it is with the highest regard for those who can produce their winning ways and take pride that it is for anyone to view.

I believe each member supports any winner- beit -they do not insult the integrity of the site by claims. This comes from many before who either turned service or plummeted with many loyal followers dangling their underwear in the wind as a surrender.

Personally- I have gone to the best-- no-hype -no record- just my best opinion status. Believe me - when you are near the top of capping even for one day- it can feel supreme and yet you need to perform to stay at a high level. So express an attitude of good fortune and understand the next time around - many may go down. Look in on Bi-g Al Mc--mor--dies site -See his 1-7 day for Saturday and the entire site of cappers who messed up big last night.

There is a sibling rilvary on practically all sites that I have seen. If you go about your picks and why you liked them - you will stay honored- even if ya lose. Try taking your ball to another site and it creates nothing but an immature impression upon all of us.

A couple of words from last nights game- With Indys quick 10 points and then go to the run to milk the clock- was absolutely ridiculous. Seeing Peyton over trying to clue Harrison in what Dungy was doing- if Pitt showed any sense of comeback - then I would agree.

Great plays STICKWITHME, I had a great weekend as well. If I posted this weekend's record, I would get a lot of shit too, because I didn't post them. We, those who work, don't have all the time in the world to sit down, post plays, and chat with others on the computer about sports that we never played, get no respect from the VETS, but that doesn't phase me. My guess is that those who don't post often actually do stuff outside of their houses or even, shhh... get laid. You, others, and I can have good or bad weekends, but if we don't post then we get shit.
I too am in favor of not saying if I place 27K or if I have to bake 1500 pizzas to cover a game, a unit is a unit even if you play 25 cents as a unit. If you play a game for $2.50 (10 units) that is an awful lot to a 25 cent player, so I would rather not hear if you play 27K, $1250, or whatever. To me, and others, that is bragging or just seen as bullshit. There is nobody to impress here with the size of your wager, if you have to impress somebody you don't know, you have to make REAL friends. 1 unit = 1 unit no matter the price or object.

I enjoy this site, I respect many cappers here, but they are mainly the ones who don't say how much they place, and it so turns out that they win most often.
