I thought it was stupid. That's my take. No offense to Chuck. I don't see the sense in it. To be honest, I clicked on this thread early this morning and was so confused by the first post, I didn't click on it again.

I think GOY's on this board are beyond ridiculous. I know Wayne has had great success with them, but he also attaches a disclaimer with his asking guys not to go crazy.

We're handicappers (i'm disguised as one anyway) and bettors on this board. What reason could we possibly have to call something GOY? How do I know that a game I cap a week from now won't be stronger than my 8 unit total yesterday? I likely will not have anything stronger, but how do I know? My systems have room for a 10 unit play, but they've only come along 3 times in 7 years.

I just don't get it and never have. My two cents. Flame away.

I agree with his comments regarding GOYS but I disagree with the way he went about it to prove his point.

I guess i just wasn't consumed by the thread like some of you must have been. First off, if he REALLY wanted to mess with people, the Title of the thread would have said GOY (Can't Lose) or something like that. The fact is and the thing most over looked is the thread title. It says "POSSIBLE" GOY meaning that there is a chance that there won't be one. That's why i think it's a big deal about nothing. Like i said, it didn't consume me or bother me for that matter.

I think it's fucking stupid how all these supposed "vets" are out to protect and teach all these "newbies" a lesson. Kapt has that ridiculous Demolisher record posted in his sig when he goes like 1-5 on his posts. Why doesn't anyone jump his ass about misleading poor newbies? Give me a break. We are all adults here and learn from experience and age not these stupid "I told ya so" b.s threads. GO INDY

If we're adults than act like one and move on. I don't get it. You're just as guilty right now as the guys who bashed rainman. You're sick of it yet you choose to take part in it.

Go to any forum in the world of the internet and show me one where there isn't a core group of people that post there daily. It's not a clique as you call it. It's at every site and you can choose to be a part of it and mingle, watch from the outside, or dispute it as you do. It's a gambling forum and if there is "Drama" here than you would be cast as the lead Actor right now.

it's fine to have a "core group of guys", i think the point being made by me and others here tonight is that you in this post here, make light of any mis-steps by chuck saying no big deal, but if it was someone new or cocky, you guys would be all over him.....

You know Wayne this is so true ... If they think there is something wrong on this forum they should go to other ones ... either they are boring as all hell or everyone is at each others throat ... No other site has the feeling as this one ..

AGAIN and for the 3rd time. His thread said POSSIBLE GOY. That means there might not be one. It would have been a hell of alot worse if the title was like others i've seen. Damn, are you guys really this bored tonight? You're missing a good game on T.V.
