    I agree with you Wayne, he had trouble in the BIG games.. the playoffs, but I don't blame him as much as I blame the Lions. It's so much easier to run when you have a great QB and WRs to help you spread the field....

    IMHO, Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, and Walter Payton are the greatest RBs ever (not in that particular order), but Barry is my favorite.

        Yes, he was.

        The fact is that although Barry has tons of great games... he also leads the league in number of plays from scimmage for negative yards due to his style. He was shutdown many times... but he came back time after time.

          I think he will be remembered as one of the best ever either way but winning the Big game will get the monkey off his back. It's the same one Marino has been carrying forever and always will. I think he gets the ring this year!

            I'm sure he did and I'm sure he was but I think it's a total different preparation and mode in the playoffs.....that's all.

                  I think Sayers HAS to be in there. He didn't have longevity but check out other peoples numbers in the same amount of time that Sayers played and you will see how amazing he was. It's like Koufax in bases.
