Aloha BC friends!

I'm in sunny Hawaii right now at an internet cafe. As some of my BC peeps might know, I'm interviewing for a job in Honolulu. Seems promising, the people interviewing me are very nice and Hawaii is beautiful. My BJ plays are as follows:

NHL (all for .5 units)
Atlanta Thrashers +195
Canucks +135
Pitt Penguins +200

NFL (all for one unit)
(I am following the fades as well, but the giants pick is my own fade based on limited information/service picks)
NY GIANTS +5.5
NY JETS - 2

keep in mind my record would be a little better if Vanderbilt hadn't blown wins against MTSU and Kentucky. It goes to show you, never play based on your biases!

During my time on this lovely island, I've been taking in the hot women and have been expanding my horizons. I'm reading "Beat the Sports Books: An Insider's Guide to Betting the NFL" by Dan Gordon, and i must say, (although I can't really say it's helped me yet), it does share many of the opinions of you, my fellow bc members -i.e. scamdicappers, whom he calls touts, the only locks are the ones that have keys for them, etc.
It's also pretty interesting reading when it comes to the section on how lines are set, and how things are taken into account and especially how the points are important.
Anyone else read this book and find it helpful? Just an FYI...
