10* Oral Roberts (-3.5) vs Southern Cal----->oral roberts is one of the best mid-majors ( i hate that word, but....) and is very talented while usc is dreadful.....usc's new coach tim floyd scares me a little because i believe he will be a good coach for this school but they have absolutely no talent and oral roberts should be looking forward to playing well in the alaskan shootut..........we get a tiny bit of line value here b/c oral roberts is off a home loss to a 'worse-than-usual' utah state team..........always like veteran teams (oral roberts returns almost its who team in tact from conference winning team last year) vs. young teams in nov/dec..............

plus, i always like the "what would the common idiot do?' theory, meaning that if someone that knew nothing about this game just wanted to bet it, they would take the pac-10 underdog..........never discount this angle "
