  • KB's NCAA Hoops for Wednesday 11/24/05

NCAA Hoops YTD total 11-5 +5.5 units

Getting in this one now, because I might not be around much longer before it starts.

    1* Arizona Wildcats -1

Mich St. played a tough triple OT game last night vs the Zags. As much energy as both teams played with last night and with Mich. St. losing, I look for them to come out a little flat. Arizona has a pretty decent team that played UCONN pretty tough last night. I will go with the fresher legs here.

Be back with a few more later on for tonight! Good luck!

Arizona put themselves in a position to win it there at the end, but came up short.

                    2 more dogs for tonight....

                    1* Gonzaga Bulldogs +4
Adam Morrison. Need I say more. I thought Michigan State would come out sluggish against zona, playing an earlier game, got beat last night, but they came out a lot sharper today than Arizona and led comfortably until their 5 minute scoring drought with 6 minutes left in the ballgame. I think this will be an up and down game and it will come down to the wire. I'll take the points.

                    1* UCLA Bruins +6 1/2

Memphis comes into the Preseason NIT finals averaging 83 points a game in their victories over Wisc-Milaukee and Alabama, but John Calipari has a few new and young faces in his lineup. Madison Square Garden can be an intimidating place to play for these youngsters and I think the Bruins can keep it close. I think the Bruins have a little more experience and can slow the pace of the game down a bit, as they have only averaged 64.3 points per game in their 3-0 start this year.

Best of luck to everyone tonight!
