1-1 in the MAC this week.
Western Michigan +10.5 Any of us betting these MAC games should have a reality check. It's really tough to know what will happen when there's no defense. Here's a little something though. NIU got Wolfe, their stud RB back last week. He rushed for 177 yards against Toledo. Their reserve qb has been serviceable since the starter, Horvath, broke his arm earlier this month. But I think the Huskies will try to pound the ball on the ground with Wolfe. And W. Michigan hasn't been too bad defending the run, giving up only an average of 50.7 yards on the ground the last 3 games and 125 a game over the course of the season. They're absolutely abysmal defending the pass. they've given up an average of 317 over the season and 410 the last 3 through the air. But, if they can slow down Wolfe today NIU reserve QB, Dan Nicholson, probably won't be able to get enough to cover the 10.5 through the air. Lots of ifs and buts. I don't think I'd bet it at less than 10.5. But I'll take the points at that number.

You should have added another sentence which reads "Its really tough to know what will happen when there are attempts to fix the game." There have been a number of well known incidents this year with wild swings in the line only to see final score fall right within the middle.
If there has been any hanky panky this year in football, this conference is in the forefront on the suspect list.

Probably too early to tell if the number is going to go higher than 10.5 due to those kind of circumstances, savage. If it doesn't that would be a tough middle between 9.5 and 10.5. But I'll take a 10-point NIU win.

Garth-I can't remember the exact games, but there were at least several where a number of people were commenting on how mysterious things happened in some MAC games, and the final point spread right within the middle of a spread had fluctuated a lot during the week.
I am not referring necessarily to today's game, but I have my doubts as to whether these MAC games are always on the up and up. Money talks!

Not to well. I played Rose Creek, which sucks for me, because I do not always hit the ball straight and the rough out there is next to impossible to find your ball. We had to skip 2 holes cause of darkness, but I was going to be around the 100 mark. I had 3 pars and a birdie and still wound up around the century mark, consistency huh??

I haven't played Rose Creek, but I understand it's a pretty tough links-style course. Lots of what I call "gunch", that ***** shit where balls go to die. My son plays there some.
