The Nets game on Saturday was closer than it should have been, but still a winner (this is why I hate betting on the Nets, they're soft). One play tonight, but I really don't love it:
1.1 UNIT to win 1 UNIT - Philadelphia Sixers -10 (vs. OK Hornets)
You'll almost never see me take the favorite in a double digit spread game. There are just too many variables at the end of a game that can cause what should have been a cover to end up getting back-doored. That being said, I really like the Sixers in a blowout win here. The Hornets pobably have 2 (hell, maybe 3) more wins than they should have been expected to have at this point. Good for them, the still stink though. Meanwhile, the Sixers had two tough losses this weekend against two pretty good teams.
I'll take a shot on the Sixers here, but only a small one.
