USC will get beat. They have an average defense

i can see why u guys say this, but we'll see. texas looks great on paper, but they've played noone that comes close to USC yet and the big twelve is the weakest major conf i've seen in a long time. hard to get up for and blow out every team when you've won 33 in a row and you are their title game....texas has been fortunate enough to avoid the pressure because of SC's streak ( and the fact that they finally beat okl..lol) we'll see, it'll be a hell of a game but i think USC comes to play for 60 min at that point

Texas beats em. Texas will probably be + points in the Rose Bowl...good ML bet. Texas is solid on both sides of the ball. USC D is suspect.

Texas D WILL NOT be able to contain these guys...it'll be good game, but as was said, TX has played NO ONE...that'll hurt them. Throw in the month of no play & home field for USC, that equates to a USC WIN, IMO.

I'm thinking the Horns can beat em. But then I had 3 units on the Sooners last year in the Orange Bowl. When you talk about Texas' not playing any competition, I'm not sure you can say that the Buckeyes in front of 100K home fans is nobody.

I STILL do not think texas can beat them and it seems USC plays just to the caliber of the team there playing, so when they play texas i think they will be ready again

I think Miami could have beat them...I don't think Texas has a chance.

Like I said last night, the intangible to me is the poise of USC. They know they've been there before and they act like it. Don't get rattled. But to beat Texas, they had better be prepared to play a 4 full quarters. These lulls in their play will come back and haunt them if not.
                        Pre-ban 1-0 (+1.00)
                        Post ban 6-4 (+3.90)

u r probably right garth, what i'm saying is that ohio st has beaten one ranked team, mich and they have 4 losses. and even that ohio st win was a longggggg time ago. they're not exactly "battle tested". texas has a long history of disapointing and i hope it continues this year!

                            That's a very good point...and I agree...but I'll say the same thing to Texas.

If they play like they did in the 1st half against Oklahoma St...it will be a bigger blowout then the Oklahoma/USC game last year.

I just don't see USC being beat this year.

                              There defense isn't very good.

And someone has to stop bush (both of them)
