Baseball bull pens are awful right now...right now you gotta bet the bull pens not just the pitchers...that's why I think uts always a decent play to go against the Royals, and on the flip side; I LOVE betting the Reds cause usually you get great value with them

***Did you bet Jersey for the series yet? What other series bets you have out there? Believe it or not, I LOVED EVERY chalk team in the hoop series action....usually I like dogs, but this year is different.....but, didnt lay the lumbar on heavy chalk...stayed pretty quiet with the exception of Lakers and for hockey heavy on the Sens.....quite often I like to take chances and wait for the team I like to drop a game and then jump in and get better prices....but, I cant with Ottawa if I like them to win game 1...if they win game 1, their price will spike up....and if they lose game 1, I'll just get in for more with a good value play....kinda like dollar cost averaing in the markets....I did the same with Lakers and jumped in down 1-0, and if they lose and go down 2-0 I will buy more Lakers shares at GREAT prices....the key is; for one not to have their head buried in the sand and not get in denial...so I have "stops" just like they do in the markets....if a nightmare happened and Lakers went down to an elimination game, I wouldn't chase it and same with Ottawa...I only play a team down up to 2 games and nothing more from there....Best of luck to you and thanks for your insights

Just to show you the absurd nonsesne which goes on with this Lakers, team, I see where one can get 9-1 odds with Celtics to win series being down 2-0, whereas with "almighty" Lakers you can get only a little better than 2-1. Something is not right.
Would I take Celtics to come back at those odds?- probably not because Nets to me are a better team
But I have to disagree with ***'s contention there is value betting Lakers now especially at those odds.
I disagree with the analogy of comparing the Lakers to a stock re: value.
The difference is that if you buy a stock which is down which is a good company, ok,you can afford to wait,and there is no time limit.
With a team like Lakers at silly odds posted ,there is a time limit as two more losses and they are out.
I would compare Lakers not to a stock but more to an option at this point(buying an out of the money call with a month to go).
I see no value at all with betting Lakers at this point especially at 2-1 and as stated at least with Celtics you get decent odds(even though I don't think they will come back either).
