Friday's NBA Weiners

NBA Record (13-5)

I still can't believe I lost by a half point last night in the Lakers game, that was a bad beat. I don't like anything tonight, and I'm leaving town for the weekend tomorrow, so here's my friday plays.

Seattle Supersonics -3
I don't think the Supersonics are as good as they were last year, but I still think they're good, they had an impressive win on the road at Boston on Wed. They're finally coming home after a 5 game road trip against tough Cleveland, Washington, and New Jersey, they beat Toronto. The Bulls meanwhile will be playing their third road game out of 6 in row, and they're 0-3. I like this play a lot.

Phoenix Suns -10
I'm gonna keep betting against Utah until they can show me they can play without AK47. Phoenix has lost 3 out of the last 4 at home, this is the 5th home game. BTW, Phoenix beat Utah, in Utah by 9, with AK, before this homestand.

Toronto +9
I don't think the Celtics are that good and Toronto is getting desperate. There next four games, at home against Miami, then on the road against Phoenix, LA Clippers, and Sacto, if they don't win this one, they'll probably be 0-13 to start the season. I'll take the points.

I had the NY last night but I know what you mean. I had a Orlando total going early this year and Orl was down by 10, or 12 points with 4, 5 seconds left in the game. The number was sitting on the push and here comes the Orl player, just running up the court like there was a chance they were going to win the game [NOT] and makes a easy layup to make the total go over. That's a tough loss but you gotta strap it on and keep coming back. Good luck tomorrow BW, love the girl!

Yea, bad beats are normal in hoops, too many meaningless shots at the end of games. I had a beat once in college hoops, were a player threw up a shot 3/4 length of the floor for the backdoor cover, i couldn't believe my eyes.

I only played two games in the NFL cause I'm gonna be in Tahoe this weekend, playing poker, craps etc. but I'm gonna look it over some more tonight and see if I like anything else. Carolina -2.5? Is that a sucker play. The NFL is back to being the good teams and the bad teams, but one of those bastards always gets upset, who's it gonna be?

Yea the Eagles game is intresting, I think they rally around McMahon and he's not that bad, but the Giants coming off the lose and the Eagles coming off the Monday night, leads me to believe the Giants win outright, the 7 points is another question. The 49ers are really bad, but that's too many points at home, I teased it down, I could see the Hawks winning by 10. Texans at home getting those points looked good to me too, sort of, the Chiefs have been inconsistant, but they could run all over the Texans, so I'm staying away. Ravens at home getting points, Titans at home getting points, could be good plays, but they could also get blown. The Raiders +6 is a game I'm seriously considering.
