penn state is favored by 7-71/2 and 7 is the biggest key number they will not go below 7 because there is a huge difference between 6 and 7 and if they raised the line to 8 they would get more action on michigan state
I know that ********* is just a play $$$ site. But they track their "consensus" picks, the picks that, from their sample, have a large majority on them. Those consensus picks hit right around 50% of the time. Maybe there's some better data than that out there. But if one puts any stock in that percentage, one is not going to do all that well just blindly fading public plays over the long haul.

Yes, that and Penn State should kick ass in that game! I wouldn't bet on Michigan State...however there are some nice trends supporting the spartans, maybe I'll post them in this thread.
Big Ticket - I'll save you the trouble...already had these written down and I think this is the most interesting game of the week!
Michigan State is 17-3 SU and 18-2 ATS in its last 20 home finales, including a perfect 7-0 ATS as an underdog.
6 of the 8 times these teams have met; the average winning margin has been 32 points. In each case the home team won. The Spartans are 13-0-1 ATS in home finales. The home team is 10-2 against the number in this season closing series for both teams.
After seeing all that, I say you either play Mich St or don't play it at all.
