College Hoops YTD 0-0 I love this time of year! Not saying I'm good or anything like that, but college hoops is right at the top of my favorite sports to watch!
For tonight.....
1* Texas Longhorns -34 1/2
Southern comes into Austin tonight for the Guardians Classic way overmatched in talent. Southern returns just 2 starters from last years 14-15 team that made it to only the 2nd round of their conference tourney. Texas returns 3 starters off last years 20-11 team that made the NCAA tourney with Daniel Gibson at the point coming off an excellent freshman year. P.J. Tucker also returns to the starting lineup after being academically ineligible for the 2nd semester of last season. He should be a big presence tonight and I don't see Southern being able to hang with the Shorthorns tonight. Texas in a rout!

Miami O returns 3 starters and a ton of bench experience from a team that finished last year at 19-11. The two guys they lost were definitely there best players and will be hard to replace. Alabama returns 3 starters but lost one of the best players in the SEC last year in Kennedy Winston. Alabama was 24-8 last year but got knocked out of the NCAA tourney in the first round by Wisc-Mil. I look for the Redhawks to keep it within single digits here.
1* Wisconsin-Milaukee Panthers +7 1/2
Memphis comes into the game as the preseason #12 ranked team in the country. Memphis returns only 2 starters though off of team that finished 6th in Conference USA play last year with a 22-16 record. Wisconsin Milaukee returns 4 starters from a 26-6 team that knocked off 2 good teams in Alabama and Boston College before losing to the eventual national runner-up team of Illinois in the Sweet 16 last year. Again, I'm hoping for a close game here and I'm going with the experience.
