IMO he did not deserve it at all...they take about defense, he had plenty of errors this season...how many games would the yanks won without him, probably the same amount...how many games would the sox have won without ortiz, probably about 3/4s as many which wouldnt have given them even a spot in the playoffs

Arod plays day in a day out both on Defense as well as batting.. Why would they want to give the highest award to a player in baseball to a damn DH?? Makes no sense and thank GOD they realized that ARod deserved it more than Ortiz
