Yes, for the series I think taking LA right now is one of the best prices we'll ever see to bet LA while they are in the midst of a title run. I agree with Charles Barkley...if you are an anti-Laker fan, you better root for the Spurs hard, cause Spurs are the ONLY team that can beat LA. THE ONLY...They have the big bodies and I don't like the fact that George got hurt last night...That hurts LA, but still too much talent for any team...At this price down 1-0, Lakers is a nice series bet

Even if Lakers win this series, I will not regard them as a great team because of lack of effort on a number of games during regular season.
Great teams like Celtics of 50's and 60's, and in 80s and earlier Laker teams were greater in my estimation because of better balance and better attitude especially during regular season.
Lakers may be a great playoff team but that's it in my estimation.
They simply don't have the heart and desire to perform every night like some of the teams I descrived earlier.
Regular season counts too, as fans pay a lot to see those games, too; frankly I personally would love to see the Lakers and the quietly arrogant Kobe lose this series to the much classier San Antonio team.
Duncan deserved that MVP in every facet, binding that team together for entire season and even more so in Robinson's absence.

***I was forced to pass on the NBA tonight...those lines were lines that I wasn't comfortable with all day and night...was hoping for better lines, but oh well can't complain with one play, one winner

As for the Ottawa Senators-

This is a HUMUNGOUS, TITANIC, GIGANTIC series bet....like I said the Senators will expose the Flyers, I firmly believe they WILL expose the Devils

This Devil team is NOT the same team that won the cup and then lost the following year to the Avalanche in the finals....this is a MUCH weaker Devil team

But, its not New Jersey I'm evaluating but its Ottawa being that good

The Devils though not as much, but STILL rely on the "trap"...well, theyre facing a team that is in my opinion one of the best teams in history at pinching the wingers...that is correct, one of the best in history, if not the best at pinching the wingers....most NHL teams can't pinch...you need great skill, speed, discipline, and talent to be able to pinch the wingers for 3 periods of hockey...well, Ottawa attacks in "waves" with the pinch...its one wave after another wave after anoher wave until finaly they pinch it down low...and when this happens; TOO LATE TO TRAP...yes, the trap is effective and Jersey runs it better than anyone, but the offense Ottawa plays will be slowed down at times no doubt, but with such a DEEP DEEP DEEP team and the ability to attack in waves, Marty Brodeur will SEE the BEST offense he has EVER faced in a playoff series

Don't let the small market team and the lack of media attention the Senators get to implment any doubts about this team...this team is that good....this is a HUGE series bet for me...these are just my opinions...I know Jersey has the great goalie and the great experience, but I just cannot see Jersey skating with this team...I can't see Jersey matching up line for line...Ottawa's 2nd and 3rd lines might literaly embarrass Jersey's...lets be honest, when Ottawa went back into a pinching attack; they literally embarrassed Philly...this is a young team and from time to time theyll get into the "trial and error" phase and get lost at times...but, when they come back to focus- GOLD

I think Ottawa should sweep them, but then again I thought Ottawa was going to sweep Philly...so, they might try to feel Jersey for a few games as well before they unleash the dogsof hell...but, I say they win this in 5 and beat the west team in 4 or maybe 5 at most
