Big Saturday as I hit my 4* GOY and my only 3* play also and split 2-2 on my 1* plays. My record on top plays (2* and above) is now 19-5.
I'm not going to press today as I think the card is very tough but I have one solid play and I'll throw in three iffy opinions.
1* Panthers -9
I picked Carolina to win the Super Bowl and while they started slow they've hit their stride (they're not a Super Bowl winner however). The Jets made a huge effort last week at home against the Chargers but lost anyway. It'll be very hard for them to replicate this on the road in a non-conference game against a surging opponent. I'd make it a 2* but the number is just too high.
Opinions only: Lions, Seahawks, Houston U. (the Houston game is too weird to make a big play on; Southern Miss is playing its fourth straight road game and is on only four days rest. How do you handicap that? I like Houston but there's too much uncertainty to make it a rated play)
