I know spark, but the last time we had this discussion, I was told to do that...lol. Spark you know personally what I do, so thanks for the input. Next time i will not even mention any non-released plays.

Thank You Guru .. i can vouch for your integrity and business ethnics .. I put you with the best of them ... but rules are rules and I guess you are grandfathered in this forum and I do not want to change that .. but please refrain from asking for sign-ups on this forum like you did ... and like we discussed, only post the plays that have not started ..

        Thanks K

Guru, I know you have been posting on this forum for 2 years and i know that you help me with other things but please do not post any plays after they start .. that is what started this discussion ...

          Thanks

          Spark,

If you don't mind, and if its none of our business then I understand, but can you explain the reasoning behind the decision to let Guru post his non client plays in the all sports discussion when he does infact get money for client plays...but does not profit?

I would LOVE to be able to post my non client plays here. And I would not mention any client plays here in this room.

Is that the precident being set here?

          Thank,
          John

John, the best way for me to answer that is that Guru has been posting Plays here way longer than i have even been a member .. This is not my decision ...Like I said he has been posting his plays for years on this forum ...I am not about to change something that Wayne and Monte allowed since 2002 ...

                Spark,

Not a problem. Like I said numerous times in this post..I am a big fan of Guru's and love his writeups.

I was unaware of the length of time he was here.

                I'm sure everyone will understand.

                Thanks,
                John

John, He was here a long time ago posting and asking for money to split newsletters. At the time i was moving him and telling him to stay in sports services. He talked to Monte and Monte said to let him stay here. I don't know, he might have been helping here with newsletters at the time. He (after getting shit from members) agreed to let it go and just post picks in all sports discussion. I'm pretty sure he agreed at the time not to post that stuff in this forum too. We told him if he did to go and stay in sports services. At the time it was Monte's choice, not mine.

                  Hope this helps.

                    Wayne,

Thanks for the post. I think everyone is clear now on it...and it's understood.

Appreciate you taking the time to explain.

I know I'm jumping into this way late, but I think I see where the disconnect is.

The $150 price tag c0vers receiving a full season's worth of many of the industry's weekly newsletters (ie. Goldsheet, Steam Sheet, Red Sheet, ######, Mark Lawrence's Playbook... about 10-12 in all). We will call this the "Newsletter Exchange Program"

The agreement from day one has always been 150 single dollars for the Newsletter Exchange Progran and not one single dollar is charged for the plays.

As a courtesy, SportsGuru emails all of his personal picks to those who choose to participate in the Newsletter Exchange Program. The write ups and handicapping is done in such a professional manner, I can see why it would appear to be done by a service. These picks are what have been posted here on the site.

How do I know all this??? Two years ago I was the lead "basher" of Sports Guru and demanding that he be banished to the Services area.

When Sports Guru says "The Service" he is referring to the Newsletter Exchange Program, not his picks.

I hope this has all been put to rest and we can all get back to doing what we do best... badmouthing the "real" services.

If only Guru explained it like this, I would have never been a pain in the ass....Sorry Guru...

some posters on this forum are a joke!
give sports guru a break. the guy gets tons of info for people, charges minimal for the info, if he doesnt want to give out all his plays, big deal, people are still getting the info they truly pay for. chuck cheese, i am so sick and tired of reading on here you are 'looking out for the this or that guys best interest, dont want to see him scammed" seriously, everyone on here is an adult, 99% of the people on here you dont even know, give it a rest, we all can look and any post we want, play any game we want and dont have to follow the VETS on here. sorry that i am not a vet that i dont sit on the site 23 of 24 hours a day like the rest of you do.
get off guru's back. if he really left, this forum lost a great capper... a guy that actually backs up his plays with info not just posts like most others on here... guess i will be banned for talking against the almight VETS, lol
