I actually saw BigWeiner do the cross sport parlay maybe 6 weeks ago and thought it was brilliant...If the play was a 1*, the payout would be $78...the play is a 10* so the payout is $780, but I post it as (+78) to let those viewing see what the value is compared to $100.
If the play were a 4* and I posted (+312), those who are bad at math (hopefully not MANY gamblers are, but you never know) might not see if the play is worth it valuewise...and they may not have a calculator around either...
