  • Mid-Season Conference Champion and Superbowl teams

Each team has reached the midway point in the season. What 4 teams will reach their conference championship, which two teams will make the Superbowl and of course who will win the Superbowl.

    AFC

    Indy Over Denver

The Colts proved last night they are the best team in football. Defensively, they are above average. They miss lots of tackles. However, with their offense they can give up 20+ points and still win the game.

Denver is the 2nd best team in the AFC. The've played a tough schedule. They lead the conference in rushing and are near the top in rushing D.

    NFC

    Seattle Over NY Giants

The Giants are similar to the Colts. They have the 2nd best offense in football. Their offense is well balanced. The run and pass very well. Their defense is good vs the run and lousy against the pass. I believe they can beat both Carolina and Atlanta on their way to the conference game. We'll get a preview of the NFC conference championship on 11/27 when the Giants play @ Seattle.

Seattle is a well balanced team. They have a great running game with a very good passing game. Their Defense is not great but good enough to take them to the superbowl.

    Superbowl

    Indy Over Seattle

Indy proved last night they are the best team in the league. I think Seattle can make it a game but won't be able to keep up with the Indy offense.

Indianapolis has proven they can win in a variety of ways. head and shoulders the best team in the NFL. Look out 72 Dolphins! I will take Pitt to oppose them tho it wouldnt be much of a game in the RCA dome.

In the NFC I'll take Atlanta with a good defense that is great at home vs Carolina. I'm a homer with Carolina but Atlanta owns Carolina and I cant go against that trend!

      Frank,
I wouldn't count out the Chargers. They played the best team and have the toughest schedule. West to East to West to East travel and the last 4 teams Had a bye before playing them. Now, They have a bye, just right for them to get their guys some needed rest.

Offensively, they can score on anyone. Need a little work on D's, but their rookies are starting to get use to the NFL. Look for them to make a late rush.

Stick to the nba frank! haha, jk....They proved last night they are the best huh? I believe they are a great team, and I think they will be superbowl champs, but last night didn't prove anything except just how beat up the pats D is. The game is much closer if NE scores at the end of the half instead of dillion fumbling and letting Indy get ahead. And who has indy beaten? if you and I played the texans twice a year we'd have winnign records too. I agree with them being a very good team, but I don't agree with the reasoning. It will be interesting when they play a solid team...who do they have the rest of the way?

I agree with the Charges but they are 4 games back in the loss column. In no way can they go into Indy in the playoffs and come out with a win.

BTW SD plays @ Indy on 12/18
