So after a fierce battle last weekend with UCLA, Stanford has to be a public eye-opener especially with the huge spread by USC. I'm sorry, but I'm not buying it, UCLA played a good game but I honestly think they can do better. As for USC, TEXAS is on its tail and now they must step up their game to maintain their number 1 position. So Tonight, I'm playing :

USC -33.5

Shown here in my sportsbook, there's a lot of heavy hitters laying on Stanford to cover the game here. I think USC will come out dominating tonight after a perfect performance from TEXAS.

As much as your logic makes sense, I don't agree with it. USC has zero to prove right now. All they need to do is win due to their stength of schedule of remaining opponents. The only way USC loses their #1 spot now is if they lose.

Texas on the other hand does have to win impressively because if Virginia Tech wins out and wins out easy...they should leap frog Texas by the end of regular season.

I agree with the pick though....USC should roll.
