Hell, you have a "Fade" section to go against the services, what did CB do wrong? I enjoy this site & find it useful, but things are getting out of control!

Yes, he did mention services and he did it in 2 threads today. At least 2 other people started posting different service plays in his other thread too but Monte erased the whole post, not just the names. It has been a rule here for months now. Read the Announcement at the top of the Forum about it.

He has been watched lately and for good reason. Read backwards in the post history. Also, these posts were edited out so that's why you don't see the services. We can handle it without help from others here and he's broken those rules you talked about and he's still here so let us worry about it.

Neil, I just want to know what's wrong buddy? I can see yesterday as something without malicious intent but you seem very angry at times towards others here or their threads. I just hope you and others don't take it personally at times. There are going to be people here on every side of every game and i don't think people should ever be offended by that.

I don't want to get to embroiled in this, and I ask this in all sincerity:
Is there really that much difference with mentioning in a very general sense who the services are on and a thread which asks who your book needs? Both are in a sense giving an indication as to who bet on or against based on some kind of consensus. I don't see the difference.
Being specific and listing all the services would break the rules, I understand, but I see no consensus with someone listing overall consensus picks especially if they will help.
There are a number of other sites which continue to list all the services and their exact plays;if they can do that (I haven't heard of any lawsuits either), then I certainly see no harm with someone very knowledgeable like CBoy simply trying to help us all out. jmho.

savage, Not to sound mean but are you F-ING serious? We have let it go here and there and Monte is sick of it. People started posting service plays all in CB's thread yesterday and it went out of control. Monte went and deleted every post. I really thought you were much smarter than your question. If other sites have it than go there. Monte is SICK of getting letters from lawyers and services along with emails about it ... PERIOD! This is the BIGGEST site of it's kind so they try to chop his head off before going after the smaller ones. Anybody who doesn't like this forum, the rules, or how it is run can leave. You're not binded by a lease or contract and you're also not the owner here. It's like anything else in this country. You have options and if you don't like this one, move on.

If you don't like how wal-mart is run and you choose target to shop at, do you then stand outside of wal-mart everyday bitching and moaning about what you don't understand or telling them how they can get better? NO. So why do people do it here? If you don't like it, leave it!

I think I have a right to my opinion though, and yes perhaps CBoy should not have mentioned the NCoast 5* as that is breaking the rules(although the pick was readily available and not too hard to find).
You still did not answer my question as to how a thread about local books which gives a GENERAL sense of where the money is going differs from a knowlegeable post as to where the money is going in a GENERAL sense with the cappers. Both help the bettors, and that is what counts.
I understand the fear of lawsuits about giving out service plays, but lets not have paranoia take over either and bury our heads in the sand! No one is going to get sued about posting plays about services in a GENERAL sense(I didn't say naming specific series);there is such a thing as constructive criticism, and there is freedom of speech; I am expressing an opinion, nothing more and nothing less;if you disregard it, then fine.

savage, All you ever do is ask why here and talk about services. It might not be a place for you, plain & simple. If you generalize what "A" Service has, people will jump in and name it for you or beg to know who it is and on and on and on........ If you can't understand that then you obviously were not here yesterday.

Harsh? Yes. When we try to do things here and you say, "Why?" ... It's irritating and NOT an opinion.
