I realize that. You have to look at it at a coaching stand point though. Up 12 or 9 it doesn't matter.

Up 9 means other team needs TD and FG
Up 12 means other team need 2 TD's....

It matters greatly.........Had Ohio scored a TD....an onside kick, 1 pass play, and they are in FG position....Much easier than having to score 2 TD's...........

He should have kicked the FG....Lets say Ohio blocks it, and then scores TD....same scenario---FG is all they need....But lets say Toledo recovers onside kick (odds in their favor).....they can sit on it---run out the closck----a win by 2 is the same as a win by 9----he should have kicked the FG---give himself that 2 TD cushion, or at the least have the QB roll out and either throw or run....Veteran QB---man not open, throw it away....was fourth down, so clock stops either way.....He put himself in a position to lose the game----Ohio can't beat you if you've got the ball....only chance to lose, is give ball to OHIO

I totally agree Kapt, but they also had to travel 99 yrds in 1 minute...I was on Toledo as well, but i figured he would go for it, since if he kicked the FG, then what would happen if that kick off he ran for a TD....I think it's a lot easier to run back a TD after a kickoff then march down the field 99yrds in 1 minute....this week has been tough on me with these bets, so close, always the right side, just bad outcome....good luck today on your card as well
