Another nice win last night as the Suns dominated most of the game. I have two plays tonight:
2.2 UNITS to win 2 UNITS - Detroit Pistons -4 (@ Boston Celtics)
1.1 UNIT to win 1 UNIT - Utah Jazz +7 (@ Golden State Warriors)
I don't love giving up points on the road to a team I still don't have a great read on in the Celtics, but I still really like this play. Detroit is good enough that I'm willing to lay a few points here.
The second pick is going more on my preseason hunch. I think the Jazz are going to be one of the surprising teams in the West this season (similar to the Sonics last season). Sloan's one of my favorite coaches in the league and AK-47 is healthy this year (last season the Jazz were off to a great start before he went down with the injury). I'm not sold on Golden State. It doesn't hurt that they haven't won the first two games of a season in something like 10 years. I'm willing to take a small bet here, but again, it's more of a hunch than anything.
