couldn't have said it better myself. I of course, think this idea is awesome, a variant on service fades. I don't have a local book though, so I'm not sure how much use I can be. I can find out how many (not how much money) people have placed bets on various sides for a couple of online books that take thousands of bets. Sound reasonable? I just want to help! (especially with my chess picks not hitting, and nascar winding down).

this is 100% true, but only if i ask, and i cant ask about 10 different games either. for example. miami @ va tech sat night.....i call get the line and i can ask him who he needs to cover. he will tell me honestly and often i will play that side,(the side my local needs) and more times than not i've won. Again i cant do this every time i call 10 times a week. But have i done it, yes. Daily no. once or twice a week yes. My local like most i assume makes huge $$$$$ of suckers who either pay for a service or just plain suck @ betting. I dont use this as a capping tool i just use to once in awhile to try and get an edge.

i agree. I was thinking this as a possible idea. Dont know if it would work but i'll give it a shot. We as a forum should pick 1 game sat one game sunday. Thats it. We then as a forum call our locals get the side that the house needs for SAID GAME. Forget the posted line. Throw that out. I'm talking just who your local needs for SAID GAME. From there we would post the results on here. Then we could play the side that local needs on SAID GAME. What do you all think??
