Some of the guys were kicking around the idea of starting a forum specifically for finding out what teams your bookies are getting flooded with on any particular day. The idea is to fade these one sided games and Play on the team ( teams ) which He needs to cover in order for his office to be successful .
If we want to start this on Saturday maybe we should kick around some ideas as to how this thread can be most effective. I just thought I’d initiate a discussion so we have all our ducks lined up.
Note : If you don’t buy the premise please don’t come in and argue that what we are attempting to do here is wrong . We want to build something Special
Some thoughts: Not written in stone … it’s an open discussion. All input is welcomed.
----- This forum should be held SACRED … it’s information can be an extremely powerful to US …. This is OUR Business in it’s purest form … so please let’s keep it serious and professional. No chit chatting …. Nothing personal … No bickering (and I’ve done more than my share )… we MUST place any differences aside and do business together … Imagine all of us attending a Board Meeting in suits and ties dicussing business at hand. This could be one of our most valuable forums.
----- The forum should have little or nothing to do with services … that matter is in the best of hands already.
----- We should strictly be informational … and only key in on who our particular bookie ( bookies ) needs on every given day. The more he’s getting flooded with one side , the more powerful our information becomes. Come on in … state the team or teams he needs … and if we want to add any comments that can be beneficial, use your judgment , and be brief … for instance .
NCAA Football : “ My guy’s biggest decision is on Virginia Tech … he needs Miami Fla to win badly . “
NCAA Football : “ My guy is getting hit with lots of Notre Dame Bets …. He needs Tennessee fairly big .”
NBA: “ My book needs The Portland Trailblazers … he has taken Serious action on Memphis Grizzlies “
NHL: “ Book getting hit with Toronto Maple Leafs … he needs The Philadelphia Flyers “
---- Again, with more than 1 sport going on … there are a ton of overlapping cities … Tell us what sport and the situation you are referring to.
For example:
"NCAA Football : My guy needs Minnesota U to cover vs. Indiana Univ."
" NBA: My man needs The Indiana Pacers HUGE "
" NCAA Baskets : My Book getting hit with a ton of Vanderbilt ... he needs The Indiana Hoosiers "
Please use your judgment but clearly tell us who he needs.
Please don’t come in with just the name of one team … we won’t know if we should bet it or fade it.
Let’s try to spoonfeed the information to one another so we all are on the same page. At least until we fall into a routine where we all understand one another .
---- Be Specific with the teams stated and the Sport we are talking about, for that matter. Accuracy is very important … try not to abbreviate … we wont have time to come back and ask you to clarify … that would be a real momentum breaker for us …. For example … Washington State …. Washington University …. Ohio State …. Ohio University …. Texas Tech … Texas A&M … etc … etc … Let’s go out of our way on this matter
----- Timing … is most important … the later the better …. Sometimes an “Out “ will need a side fairly large 1-2 hours before a game only to have it wind up more or less even at game time. If we come in too early we may give a false impression .
---- Try not to flood the forum with LEANS … we would want definite one sided info. Lots of you great members will want to contribute … hold back until you feel that your information will make an impact … then come on in with it.
---- A separate thread for each day with the day and date , rather than 1 continuous Run – On, On - going thing would be more efficient .
“ Who Does Your Book Need ? Saturday , 11/5/05 …. Then “ Sunday , 11/6/05 “ etc.
Please add your input ... get this up and running ... and let's count money together.
( Good God , I sound like " The Soup Nazi " on Seinfeld .. Please forgive me ... but you know deep down I really care about all of us doing well )
