Back for another NBA season....and have a little more time to cap this year, so looking for a good season, and need only 5825 straight winning days to make up for this past Sat/Sun.

MAVS/SUNS OVER 212' - There's been a lot of talk about the Mavs slowing it down more this year, and not running-and-gunning as much, but I'll believe it when I see it. Looking at last year, the average total when these two teams played was 228.6, and with the athletes that both of these teams have, I can't imagine either team NOT running. Neither team is built for the half-court game, so I see this game going over. Dallas started fast last season by scoring over 100 in 8 of their first 10 games and Phoenix triple digits in 10 of their first 12.

SACRAMENTO -7 - NO/Ok. City ...whatever they are these days, is a mess. The person that is probably going to be their top scorer, Desmond Mason didn't play a game in their preseason (after being acquired from Milwaukee). Bibby should eat up the rookie Chris Paul, and Chris Anderson will probably foul out quickly by guarding the savvy Brad Miller.
SAN ANTONIO -7 - Denver actually played San Antonio pretty well last year, even winning twice at San Antonio, which is hard to do (however they have lost 15 of 17 at SA). The key for me is that Denver's big men are banged up. K-Mart isn't 100%, Nene has a gimpy knee, and Camby hasn't been healthy since birth. I like the Spurs by double digits tonight.

Good luck everyone.
