I would take a few days break, but since you don't want to do that, you could just scale back your wager amounts until you turn it around. Sometimes I don't even look at the day's games if in a slump and just follow one of the great capper's here at BC! Good luck with whatever you do and you will get it turned around soon enough!

I take a few days off. That's harder to do with football. Taking a weekend off means no betting for 2 weeks.

I've been slumpling the past 3 weeks with football. This past weekend I played very few games and I cut my wage amounts drastically.

Once I sense it turns around I'll bang the shit out of my games.

When i'm in a slump in baseball (rarely, hehe), I don't take any time off. I spend more time in the cage, I do mirror drills and I take out the batting tee. To make it simple, I go back to the basics.

I like to apply the same to handicapping. Go back to the basics. I don't believe in taking time off.

bet a parlay with 5 or 6 games you probably wont win but you can cover a whole day for a few bucks on Sat. find a game that has moved 3 or 4 points and bet against the line move on Sun find the dumbest game and bet on it. good luck
never give a sucker an even break

I take time off - or follow one capper for a week. (Don't cherry-pick - when I follow - I play all of their plays for one week - or longer - before returning to my own)

Along the same line, knowing I want some action but worried I might still be in a slump, what I do is take my best bet and play it straight (as a 1 unit or even less);then I take the same game and parlay it with 3 or 4 other teams for the same amount.
If the top game wins but parlay loses, nothing lost.(obviously if everything wins, I am golden).
Obviously if top game loses but some or all of other games I don't play on their own win, well it was a bad move.
However, in my case, chances are if top game loses, other games won't do much better.
Any way for me at leas,t it is a low risk way of making some money and more importantly not losing too much.

Take some time off and reduce the number of wagers along with the wager amount.

DON'T CHASE YOUR LOSSES.... you'll get in a big hole fast. I find the best way is to ride the losing streak out. If you're a $100 bettor, cut back. WAY BACK. Make your bets $5 or $10 and bet many of them. Instead of losing $100 on one bet, you can make 10 bets at $10 and it will be difficult to lose all of them. When you sense a winning streak starting, pop those units back up. Say up to $40 or $50.

Gambling for me is all about streaks. Knowing when you're hot and when you're not is most important. It happens all the time when you're playing on the blackjack table. Same applies for sports betting. YOU'VE GOT TO BE DISCIPLINED...

Lastly, follow someone on here for a week or two, who has a decent record and bet all their selections. Again, cutting the units way back....

This is one of the most important factors.

I've seen it both ways. Guys on a roll become afraid to increase their wage amounts because they figure their roll is going to end. While on a roll gradually increase wage amounts.

$100 player increase to $110 then 120 and so on.

I use a trick somebody posted here long ago....try to narrow your plays to say 4 games.....then play a smaller 4 team parlay with all the opposite sides.....if you have a bad day with all losses, you win your loser parlay to always keep you from a total loss day.
