Won on NHL (Islanders and a parlay with Vancouver) which busted Phonepoles cherry in betting on NHL.
I have taken a look at the two games coming up on Thursday and Friday and see an advantage to playing a teaser. Feeling the upset bug this week is upon us- I am playing cautious to start my weekend. Some stronger games showing for the weekend.
1) Tease Va Tech and New Mexico 7 points
2) Tease Va Tech - New Mexico - and the Over
Virginia Tech -6 1/2
Over the last 3 seasons, the home favorite has covered the six point teaser line 20 times, and failed to cover 1 times.
Edge against the six point teaser=VIRGINIA TECH
New Mexico +1
NM is flat out a good running team and Colorado St is a fine passing team. Running wins ball games most of the time as the clock is controlled. Therefore NM should provide a win.
You can add the Over 41 (10 points) in the NM game for a sweetheart teaser. Since I have no totals on the game yet except on another site. I am holding for that to show as my second bet. The Over has predominantly won for both teams this year in ateaser form. 10 points added to VT and NM as well looks sweeeettt.
A word to the wise- BC had an off week and played Fl State tough leading 17-14 in the first half. If Another QB Vick is off of his game- the defense will need to play its usually outstanding job. However, this would put our 6 1/2 points in jeopardy.
