Wooo...where am I bashing???I'm not knocking anyone's plays...I don't want to see anyone lose..I posted a comment about LA and LA under b/c it looked like he was anti public in the NBA and they won the 1st 2 games. I am learning more about each capper daily...Wayne seems to handicap who's playing well and matchups, *** with money moves, other with stats and streaks...I hope everyone wins and I never claimed to be a capper...Just using the board for the knowledge that is here..I didn't start anything and nor should you...Thanks and good luck...

                    Joe P,

Gotta say that was impressive how you predicted what'd I play, SINCE the Lakers are always a public team....but, you'll notice for a fader I play the Lakers A LOT....some teams you have to ignore the public and try to read the lines...also, what helps me out the most is knowing who the public bet for the series....I continulously bet the Lakars for series, and will do it again and again...for some reason for the series people get really scared to touch the Lakers...I know they lay a lot of lumber, but still always surprises me

Ive been doing this a very long time and the best advice I still have ever gotten as to make a ton of money was- 4 years ago...I rely on a private source...he's not a professional line maker for a casino, but anyone from Pennsylvania will understand my point...obviously, there is no casinos, sportsbooks, etc that takes high school sports action....but, MANY local bookies in Western PA take high school football action...High school football in Western Pa is HUMUNGOUS....and people bet the heck out of it...Anyway, the bookies rely on this guy to "set" the lines for these high school games "hoping" he is accurate and can protect the bookmakers...well, just like ALL lines makers; this guy is as accurate as your local weather man....and he is a guru at reading lines, especially pro football...he is a GREAT gambler...he picks his spots and makes very few moves per month....but, this time of year he makes one specific move looking for ONE ingredient....the ingredient is BETTING A TON on the Lakers to win a series AFTER they lose a game (so the series price depresses)....he told me this 4 years ago!!! He predictied once the running of the Bulls ends, the Laker showtime will start...Of course many experts predicted this, but 4 years ago the Lakers didn't win it...but, since you know the story....of course the downside is, eventually you'll lose....but, for now the best bet in sports is BET A TON on the Lakers when they drop a game

EVEN NOW, I bet you most think the Kings wil beat them this time, etc etc....All I have to say, when the T Wolves and Lakers were tied at 2-2, people jumped on T Wolves...hence, the general public thinks its a matter of time the Lakers fall....of course most of this is based on the "lack" of Laker dominance during the season and losing home court, etc...they play to laid back MANY times....but, with their backs against the wall= GOLD

I personally think this Laker team is one of the most underrated teams in sports history...it really hasn't hit home what this team has accomplished....I think the main reason why they've went disrespected after winning three in a row is the "high" of the Chicago Bulls...people were so mesmorized by the running of the Bulls, that it never really gave people's minds to get ready for another "high"....just like the Spurs...talk about a team that went UNNOTICED dominating the playoffs and winning the big games!!! That Spur team DISMANTLED the NBA tha year to win the title...but, of course no one was impressed cause there was no Michael Jordan...how but in between the Bulls 2 three peats? The Rockets and Olajuwon won two in a row!!! But, not impressive enough cause no Michael...so, its even more of a tribute to Michael Jordan...he raised the bar so high, that winning championships without knocking off Michael wasn't enough...and I know most will say this Laker team gets plenty of respect and attention, but if you compare this team to the Lakers who won it back to back in 83 and 84, not even close.....the WHOLE WORLD was screaming "show time" and Magic Johnson

Trust me, I'm not even a Laker fan...of course I am during a series, but I personaly think they are VERY underrated...like yesterday morning...I subscribe to many different city newspapers, and of course read the columnists, etc of the sports page....most said theyd be surprised if Portland and the Hornets would extend their respected series...Meanwhile, I was surprised by those sentiments as the Hornets went very deep last year and everyone knows Portland's capabilities when they bring their "A" game....BUT, I did not see ONE columnist surprised that the T Wolves could extend it with the Lakers and EVERYONE of them said it was going 7....I just think, they're underrated and wish they got more respect...I know part of the problem of them being accepted as the "great" ones is the presence of Kobe Bryant.

Not, that no one knows hw great Kobe is, but the fact that he is a serious "threat" to be the next Michael....NO ONE thought a next Jordan woud evolve this quick...but, the public love for Jordan is seen by the way Kobe gets treated....He is automatically rejected....When Jordan retired they said Iverson was the "answer"....what a joke that is....then the public hyped up Vince Carter...keep in mind all this hyping up is going on while Kobe is dominating....and even today people will defend T-Mac as the best or even Garnett...Kobe goes back to Philly to the All Star game and DOMINATES every all star, yet he gets booed? Why? What has he ever done fr the public to turn on him? I mean Philly is his home town!!! But, they boo him after he dominates the all star game and wins MVP...Don Nelson said, he couldn't believe how much better he really was than all the other All Stars....but, people don't want to accept him with open arms...Not cause he has no class....actually, one of the classiest athletes and one of the most cerebral athletes I have ever seen...and so mature off the court...yet, they boo him in his home town...I see all the NBA stars all over the media and I keep seeing Kobe on Sprite commercials HAHA...well, they can keep on hyping up all the stars and future stars....theyve tried and failed with the Iverson's of the world...I mean how can they try to make Iverson the "next one"? That was a sad attempt...all I heard every night was the "answer the answer".....then Carter, etc......and now T-Mac T-Mac T-Mac...that's real nice T Mac can throw the ball off the glass and dunk it in a game...its STILL only 2 points....what makes Kobe light years ahead of these guys, is that he's a student of the game...and the only thing Kobe is guilty of- THAT HE IS A THREAT TO OUR BELOVED MICHAEL JORDAN AND HW DARE SOMEONE DARE THEY CAN THINK THEY WILL BE BETTER THAN JORDAN!!!....I'm not saying Kobe wil be better than Michael, etc...but, Ive said it all my life that I would never see another Ali, and I believe I was right...Never would I see another Jim Brown and I believe I was right....never thought I would see another Gretzky, but I saw one that was bigger and stronger than him in Mario Lemieux.....but, NEVER did I even think my grand kids would see another Jordan and here we are just "maybe" seeing it unfold as Jordan is STILL in the league....I guess its called evolution....and Kobe might be the next evolution of a super star

Congrats on your winnings and congrats to having the patience reading this

***Baseball Nut, great call on Phillies and thanks for the praise....You DEFINITELY know your baseball and just being humble....Best of luck to you

                      ***-I enjoy reading your posts.
You may be correct that lakers are underrated, but in fact, they bring that upon themselves with their less than stellar efforts during the regular season;lets face it-they took some poundings especially on the road during the regular season, and it seems at least a part of that was motivational.
Yes, I know that playoffs are what it is all about, but in retrospect(and I go back to the 50's) I can see why some of the truly great teams like Celtics, Sixers, Lakers of old and the Bulls teams of the 90's could be perceived as better than the Lakers overall because there was more consistency and effort especially during the regular season.
Granted, Shaq was not healthy at times during the regular season, but at least up until now I cannot regard them as the greatest team when I take into account what I stated above.
I may change my assessment if they (Lakers) just blow through the rest of the NBA finals especially if they say decimate the Spurs, a team which they did not defeat during the regular season.
On the other hand, if above occurs, I think in my mind I might call them the greatest playoff team of all team but still not change my conviction about them not being the greatest team if the entire season in taken into consideration.

You make some great points...nice write up...I just think how hilarious it is how the Lakers basically "laugh" at the league...I mean they have NO, ZILCH FEAR of not having home court, etc....Think how funny this really sounds- the T Wolves had home court over them

I think thats why the basketball world gets disgusted with the Lakers cause they don't get serious till playoffs but even in the playoffs they "toy" around and then EMBARRASS their opponents...I'm not a Laker fan, but they are great in my opinion

I agree with you on the lakers. It is somewhat frustrating because it makes it seem like the entire regular season which lasts about 7 months to be completely worthless. I live in Los Angeles and am a Laker fan, but it still doesn't seem quite right that this happens.
