Bledsoe threw an INT. It was returned to the Dallas 30 with seconds remaining. On the next play Seattle kicked the winning FG.

Dallas was up , 7-3 and driving , late in the game after they intercepted Hasselbach with 3 minutes left. They had 1st and 10 at the Seattle 12 which became 4th and 1 at the 3 with 2:08 left.

I thought for certain Parcells of all coaches would go for it on 4th down to put the game away. Even if they failed to convert Seattle would have had to drive 97 yards in the last 2 minutes, down by 4 , and up to that point Dallas' Defense had done a great job.

When he decided to kick the field goal I thought it was a mistake. It seemed so odd because Parcells has always been known for going for it on 4th down and this was a great time to do just that.

OK FG good ... 10 - 3 Dallas

Sure enough Seattle took the ensuing kickoff with 2:00 remaining and drove 80 yards in 1:20 to tie the score with 0:45 left in the game.

Dallas returned the kickoff to their own 41 . On 3rd down Bledsoe threw the INT which was returned to the Dallas 32 .

With 0:05 left Seattle kicked the FG ... Game over.

Neil, I don't normally disagree with you. I do here. You have to take the 3 points. If Dallas goes for it on 4th and doesn't make the First Down and Seattle drives the field the Boys lose. Seattle did drive the field on their ensuing possession. 80 yards.

Up to that point Dallas D had done a great job. The Prevent defense prevented a Dallas win. When will NFL coaches learn?

Good analysis Coverboy. On another note, how bad is Jose Cortez, he missed a crucial fg early/mid 4th qtr I believe that turned out to be huge. It was only in hte neighborhood of 35 yrds. He has fucked me on a couple bets this year. In the collapse to Washington he missed a 33 yarder lined up perfectly that would have put dallas up 16-0 and wash would have needed to convert 2 two point conversions after those santana moss Td's. He's also missed an extra point this year. This fucking mexican should be cut once and for all. I hold my breathe every time he steps on the field whether its an XP or a 30 yard chip shot

I really think quality of NFL play this year is pretty bad. What amazes me is that teams have to pay these unknown rookies $$$$ w/o knowing what they have and they suck.
