The Plays for Week 8
I have one that Just Missed being a Special this week and it’s in the same position that New Mexico was when they upset Wyoming last Saturday at +7 , +210 ML. Like New Mexico this team missed out by only 1 point in 1 parameter … otherwise … BOMBS AWAY !!!
Purdue + 8 over Wisconsin … The public should be all over Wisconsin . The Catch is that Purdue has lost 4 in a row and looked dreadful in a few of those losses. This worries me. I’d much rather prefer that they had lost 1 or 2 in a row and now be prepared for a bounce and a shocker . But 4 in a row draws out a myriad of concerns.
Nevertheless History shows that if My System yields Purdue ( even as a just miss ) then they must be played as an adult. ( but do not crank it up like you would a true special ) I love that my best friend The Linesmaker ONLY made Wisconsin a 7 point favorite last Sunday Night. This line smelled funny to me then and it smells even funnier now … ( regardless of their QB they should have been made double digit faves… ( -11 or 12 considering Purdue’s downturn ). While my friend is begging the public to bet The Badgers, he’s telling me to play on Purdue … He is the very best handicapper in the world and when he comes a knocking at my door I greet him with open arms. All in all Purdue feels like the Ballsiest of all the plays on the card.
By the Way, Wyoming was very close also but only worth a regular play … not nearly as strong as Purdue in this spot. Why do I say this ? … All factors considered, the database clearly indicates Purdue’s position is stronger than Wyoming’s

I believe Texas and USC will be a little sluggish this week and I expect both Shorts ( dogs ) to cover in these 2 games.
Louisiana Tech should torch North Texas , the only caveat being that the line has moved from -14 to -21 over the course of 3 days. I laid 17 on Monday and I will not endorse the laying of 21 to anyone in this game. I never lay or take a bad number and I don’t expect you should either. 21 is a bad number because the Sharpies have now been taking 21 to create a 7 point middle while the Squares are chasing and buying at a bad price. Sounds a lot like the stock market , doesn’t it ?
