  • NCAA Discussion Thread.....

Friday night--listening to the Chiefs on the Internet with no TV coverage--so while Im sitting here Ill throw out some thoughts for tomorrow---Here are some leans...

Bama-3-----------They hate UT, Croyle is better than Claussen and Bama D a little better than UT's and much better than LSU's if were playing measuring stick. Bama shut down Leak when he was healthy while he still lead some scoring drives while hurt at LSU. That is UT's only solid win and I think Bama shuts them down. Bama 20-----UT 3.

NW/MSU OVER 70---I thought this # would be 80---State will easily get above 40 and NW shouldnt be far behind. Basanez is hot, MSU will be steaming after they gassed the Buckeye game. Thing about these games is there is so many first downs and passes the game is long, ton of possessions, this thing flys over......MSU 51--NW 44.

Liked Auburn +6.5---I heard they stayed home tonight b/c hotels are filled with Katrina victims--bad situation flying on gameday (though Chiefs look ok). Still might be a play--I dont like Miles as a coach at all, LSU leads SEC in turnovers given away and penalties--good combo for not covering--need help on this one.

Like T. Tech +17--such a high number but I learned a lesson dont bet against undefeated teams that are 6-0 ATS --Texas is hot and V. Tech was as well and covered--out of principle might play Tech, their D is better than last year and have covered 2 of 3 vs. UT---thoughts?

Another play for sure--KU/Colorado UNDER 43. KU has D1's worst O, saw it live in Manhattan, KS on OCT. 8. Their D is dynamite though and can keep them in games. Colorado is struggling and the 2 best D's they faced were UT--(scored 17 in blowout and @ Miami (scored 3)--Should be ugly---Buffs 20---KU 3

    Please---thoughts--comments or info......Peace!

I think this is the tuffest week so far this year. I can't find many games that i want to sink my teeth into yet. Usually i have about 8 games i love and 12 more i like. I love 3 games so far, and i got a few leans.

Good Luck on all your plays, non of thease games excite me.

Home team is 5-0 (4-0-1) last 5 years in Auburn game, I like Auburn myself i like dogs of +2.5 and +6.5, usually good betting angle for me.

Bama has lost 5 str8 at home vs Tenn, this may be the year though.

Texas Tech hasn't Played a team with a Defense yet. Texas is ranked 3rd in D.

    Hope i help some.
    Good Luck to everyone

I saw on another forum where a paid capper with the best overall record for the season(I better not give his name here for obvious reasons) not only has Texas as his pick but his BEST pick of the weekend for whatever thats worth.

It depends on how much you value the source, and as stated, this guy has a good record.
It is a good play if YOU like it all things considered and if it wins. lol

The top 2 plays I'm looking at on Saturday are Georgia at the half -10 and Louisville-22. Georgia has been kicking the crap out of teams in the first half and Louisville needs to make some statements to get into a good bowl game and I think Cincy may be the victim of them rolling up the score.

You might want to think again about Georgia, it's been borderline at 10 (vs SEC)

              Last 5 games @half/Final

              Vs Vandy 17-7/34-17
              vs Tenn 10-0/27-14
              vs Miss st 14-3/23-10
              vs La-Monroe 17-3/44-7
              vs S.Carolina down 9-7/17-15
              Good Luck to everyone
