Saturday NCAA Football - 10/22
We cashed in both plays Thursday night, lets try to keep it going! These are my plays for Saturday....
NCAA Football
3 STAR: Tennessee (+3.5) OVER ALABAMA
Risking $330 to win $300

The Tide have had a great 6-0 start, but I look for it to end here. The Vols have owned this match up winning 9 out of the last 10 and I look for that to continue here. Alabama has lost their only deep threat in Tyrone Prothro. The grind it out running game will have a tough time against a Vols defense that is going to stack the line. Tennessee has had an extra week to get ready for this one, take the points here!
3 STAR: North Carolina State (-2) OVER WAKE FOREST

The Wolfpack has not lived up to expectations so far this season, but the defense has played pretty well and I think that will be the difference here. Wake Forest got some great play from Cory Randolph who moved from wide receiver to quarterback for the Demon Deacons, but he is out with a high ankle sprain. Ben Mauk will be back under center for Wake and I don't see him doing much against the Wolfpack defense.
Wake Forest is only 1-5 against the spread in their last six home games, lay the points!
3 STAR: NORTH CAROLINA (-1) OVER Virginia

This looks like the trap game of the week to me. Virginia comes in off of a national TV win over Florida state and finds themselves as a one point dog to a 2-3 North Carolina team? I do like the effort that Carolina gives at home and they have had an extra week to get ready. The Heels are also on a nice run going 7-3 against the spread in their last ten games. I'll bite and take the Heels as I look for a Virginia letdown.
