  • Captcane's Picks

Had the worst college football week of my short betting career last week and hope to rebound this week. Going to start the week of with Thursday Night's Game.
    Va Tech (-9.5) -106

I also like Coria in tennis this afternoon...something like -146. Always nice to pick a tennis selection and then see that Moondog has already beaten you to the punch. I like the reassurance.

Good luck all with your selections.

great call, man.. any thoughts for tomorrow's CUSA games? I was looking at S. Miss +125 and UCF -5.5.. In 4 out of their 5 games, USM has looked fantastic and after last week I think they've got their stuff together.. And I know you've done well going against Tulane all year..

Hey bud, I agree with you on both of those picks. I have to believe that Southern Miss is a dog because of their performance against Tulsa. UAB lost at home to a pathetic SMU team. If the real So Miss team shows up then this dog looks great. Also, Southern Miss has dominated this series. If I remember correctly, UAB has not won a game in this series.

I also really like the Tulane game. This goes along with one of the only "systems" that I use. New Orleans teams are tired of traveling and have no real home. Tulane put up a fight against a decent UTEP team but was still amazingly outmatched. Central Florida lost to two good teams in S. Florida and S. Carolina and ran into an angry S. Miss team last week. But have good wins over pesky Marshall and Memphis teams. Tulane has not beaten anyone with class and must be exhausted with no home to go to. I like central florida to easily cover the 5.5 line.

Plus, on the same New Orleans System, I love the NFL line this weekend. St. Louis is favored by only 3 against the visiting saints.
