  • Weazels Weekend Nascar and Golf Picks

I'm going to try some new ways to make money hopefully it works out.

Nascar @ Martinsville all 1 unit

Jeff Gordon +775 - was running at the finish of all 25 of his Cup starts. He scored five poles, most of any drivers, has 6 wins and has the best average finish (8.1) of all active drivers.

    Rust Wallace +1042 -
Rusty Wallace have the most wins (7), and he holds the record for leading the most laps as well. He led 19% of all the laps he’s raced at this treacherous track.

Jimmie Johnson +789 - last week’s winner and most recent Subway 500 race winner, has the best top ten percentage (85.7) of all drivers.
qualifies well at this track (like most others). His first start was his worst (10th). All-in-all he’s averaged a best in the series 4.0 start, including 2 poles (last year was a track record).

Ryan Newman +823 - qualifies well at this track. His first start was his worst (10th). He’s averaged a best in the series 4.0 start, including 2 poles

Golf @ Walt Disney all 1 units 1st round matchups

    P. Lonard -119 over S. Flesch
I'm playing against S. Flesch here. He’s missed his last three cuts, and players need to go low here or you won't make it. He’s 164th in birdie average and 157th in scoring average. I'm playing against him.

    B Baird +101 over O'Hair
Baird had last week’s tournament won until he collapsed on Saturday. Had he just managed a 70, he would have won easily, but he threw up a 78. I’m banking on him continuing his strong play.

    R. Palmer -108 over R. Pernice Jr.
He’s last year’s defending champion, beating Vijay Singh. Yeah, he’s struggled a bit lately, but had a top-12 finish last week. He’s top 25 in putting and top 15 in birdie average.

    R. Moore -110 over J. Bohn
he finished in the top-20 in Vegas and has been hot.

    the rest

    R. Gamez +115 over B. Jobe

    Appelbey +123 over Dimarco

    Heron -131 over Sabbatini

To win the tourney 2 units

Woods +250 He has won twice here, in 1996 and ’99. He’s a seven time winner in Florida, and is ranked No.1 in seemingly all the major categories. This is a tournament set up for low scoring, and the fact the course was lengthened only helps Tiger and Vijay

Singh +702 His last two trips to Disney World saw him win in 2003 and finish second last year. He has 10 straight top-15 finishes on tour, is third in GIR, seventh in birdie average, second in scoring and is coming off a week’s rest
