I played this earlier getting the best of the line I believe. To win at sports gambling one thing you have to consider is value. If this line doesn't resemble value, I don't know what does. I think Oswalt currently has the best stuff on the staff right now and is pitching at his peak. I'll ride him tonight and look for him to perform like he has so far in the playoffs. I think this will be a low scoring game. What this line is telling me is the Astors will only win this game 41% of the time which i believe is very wrong. At worst this is a coin flip situaiton for the Astros. I'll take the value with the Stros and hope they come through tonight.

If you flip a coin 200 times you would expect about 100 head and 100 tails.

If they played this exact game 200 times I would expect the Astros to win about 100 of them; this is a judgement call from handicapping the game. With the Astros +145 that is tons of value. Assuming I did play this game 200 times for 4 units I would gain about 160 units. Assuming that I am correct that this is a coin flip game.
