1st hockey post

Will try and cap hockey games this year. I'm looking at mostly dogs and maybe small favorites since hockey can be so unpredicable. Like betting the hot goalies and teams that have good value. Here is my 1st pick for the year:

LA Kings (+125) - Kings goalie LaBarbera has been hot so far going 3-0 with a 1.33 GAA. He has stopped 69 of 73 shots this year. Avs #1 goalie Aebischer has struggled so far with a GAA of 4.05. Not sure if Aebischer will start, but LaBarbera should start in goal for LA. I will take the better team with the hot goalie as a dog with great value.

I won't post everyday, but if I see games that look good I'll make sure and post them.

Shit, LA has their backup goalie in! Didn't see anything about this until too late. Not looking good, but plenty of hockey left.

Thanks everyone! Feel I got lucky based on assuming that LaBarbera would start in goal. Didn't see he wasn't starting until game time. I'll take a win anyway I can get it though, hope to have more tomorrow!
