Could some please define a bandwagon fan? I like the Spurs, USC, Texas Baseball, Patriots, Yankees (when they are good).

I know what you meant. Aren't you a fan of the NJ Giants? Are you being a homer b/c you like them?

BIGGEST joke in Sports are the Giants and Jets. Name another team that plays in one state and uses another states name for their team. If i lived in or was a NJ resident i'd tell them to either change the name or GET LOST! What a JOKE!

Don't get me wrong, if the Cubs went to the WS first, I'm sure I would go just to experience it, but I sure as hell wouldn't root for them.
HD - Trust me, there are not any true Cub fans wearing black and white right now. I honestly believe that there are an equal amount of true blue, hardcore Cubs and Sox fans in this city. Everyone else just jumps around as they did in '03 and this year. Personally, I am rooting for Houston to close out the Cards today which would mean Clemens in Game #1 on Saturday. One other side note on the probable Manager of the Year on the South Side. A friend of mine just pointed this out and it's quite true - during his press conferences whenever the Sox lose and he his criticized you can't understand a word he says but when they win he speaks the King's English. Kind of funny....like when Sosa suddenly needed a translator on Capitol Hill for the steroid hearings.

you would think the Jets wouldn't want to play in a stadium named for another team!

I wouldn't support a team named the NYY if they played in Boston. Think about it. I'd tell them to take their name and team and get the fuck out!

The Cowboys are definitely #1. But also falling in this category are any team from Miami especially the Heat

I've got tickets to Game 1, so I'm hoping that it's Clemens, too. Haven't heard what the Sox will do, but I imagine they'll go back to Contreras to start game 1 since he'll have had 5 days rest. That'll be his 4th post season start, and every other Sox pitcher has 2, except Garland who only has 1.
