Pinnacle first sports book to accept wagers on chess league

In what is certainly a first in the game's long history, PinnacleSports (r. 10+) today became the first sports book in the world to accept wagers on a professional chess league. The Internet's largest sports betting site, PinnacleSports is now taking action on all team matches and every individual game in the U.S. Chess League, a new eight-team league comprised of talented players from various cities across the country.

As much as I love the idea of being the resident chess expert (a la moon at tennis, who also has made picks for chess as well) I believe I've taken way too many bets on tonight's chess league games... and as Hoosier points out, it's a pretty new thing to bet on, by which I mean Chess teams in an organized league. Not sure if I'm on the right track or not. We shall have to see....
Going to see how these first mass chess pick selections goes, and if it goes terribly, I may cut it down to one or two plays per week.
