The NBA is crooked as hell and most people take it in the ass trying to figure these guys out because they are way too sneaky. They have so many ways to cook games ... sides and totals.
The way we handle this is with patience and discipline like anything else.
The trick is not to fall behind and be in a position where a bale out is necessary.
Pick a capper or 2 ( at the most ) from BC and stick with him or them. Bouncing around ( Frank B calls it " cherry picking " ) does not work. Frank will agree with me wholeheartedly. This is a common flaw with members and I'll explain why:
Your steady capper loses say 3-4-5 in a row and you're stuck for the week. The natural ( but wrong ) move is now to hunt around for hot cappers and you find one who's on let's say on a 17-4 run. You now play his stuff . He's going to lose because he'll never sustain his good fortune. Meanwhile your origional capper will now bounce back and win because he's good ... that's why you chose him in the first place. Next thing you know you're jammed up and confused as to who to turn to.
That scenario is all too common.
Frank and Hoosier are 2 of our aces in the hole . Pick your spots carefully by playing their stuff and history shows you will turn a decent profit.
Make a commitment and stick with it.
3 Wise Men Baseball had a disappointing first half of the season this year ... more or less breaking even. This was enough to discourage many people . So starting with 2 weeks after the All Star Game right up until now we go on a fabulous run with 90 games over .500 .. that's a lot of money being pulled in.
Stick with the people you choose ... Hoosier demonstrates a great feel for it and Frank's Systems hold up year after year because, after all , these NBA bastards are all creatures of habit and while they are very difficult , they are not impossible to figure out.
If it weren't for Frank I would pass altogether. Hoosier will be a great addition to our arsenal.
