Parlay Cards!!!!

Guys,
A buddy of mine is starting to do parlay cards over the internet. These are like spreads given out and you must pick two teams or more. They are so much fun. If you are interested or want more details email me (get my email from a mod) or reply with your interested in this thread. Honestly i have had lots of fun doing these and it could make some nice change.

I remember the last time I played a parlay card in football(it must 15 or 20 years ago), and hit it for a couple of days only to find out the day after I won,that the guy running it had allegedly been busted by the cops and that all the cards and money had been seized(very convenient I must say to supposedly get busted during a week when I am sure there were a lot of other winners besides me);needless to say, that was last time I bought one of these.
With reliable sportsbooks these days, I would rather take my chances with parlays there(at least I know I will get paid) than with someone I know little about.

Savage, a similar thing happened to my buddy. He won about $200 and never got paid.

Dan, I posted the same thing Savage did. My buddy won about $200. Not a large sum of money by any means. When a small time bookie takes $1 or $2 on parlay cards he doesn't want to pay big payout.

Dan, I also posted the same type of story. I'm not suggesting that will happen in this case. I don't believe that was Savage's intentions. We are only telling our stories. I don't think he was suggesting they'd get ripped off.

Dan-good luck with it, and I am not saying you whoever runs the thing is not honest; I just wanted to relate a personal experience.
I am curious as to how you would run it-both as to how someone would send you the $5 or more and how he would get paid;its not like going to your local bar and being handed one of these guys and trying to collect if you win.
ps In my first post I meant to say I hit it for a couple of hundred(not days).

You should be real careful how you run it over the internet, as this kind of stuff is not "exactly" legal;Of course, on the other hand, we all know it is for "entertainment only." lol

Also,,when in my instance I didn't get paid, I checked with the Better Business Bureau, and found out that parlay cards were not covered.
