  • Texans only a 14.5 dog against the Colts!!?

Would someone please explain to me why? How can the Texan hang with the Colts? Is this a trap game?

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
    Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

Havent you guys heard...David Carr is supposed to nice as shit..HE can get sacked all over the place...getting sacked = time consumed. Time consumed = less time for colts to score. less time for colts to score = houston +14.5. all this equation = bullshit...

To be honest I feel that this is a total trap game. Look Houston gets killed by Seattle, then Indy destroys St. Louis with the line -13 1/2. You would think that Indy giving 14 1/2 is a gimme but something tells me to stay away. If anything I would only tease this game down but what do I know since I took Houston against Seattle.

The game is in Houston. Otherwise the line would be 20 or more.

didn't a good Indy team get beat @ Houston 2 years ago??? I can't remember, if they won outright, but they kept the game close

i'm like you guys why wouldn't you unload on the Colts

The Colts have to lose and the Texans have to win eventually, it just won't happen this weekend.

Line opened at 16 and is down to 14.5 at some places. Still 15 at Olympic, and 15.5 at BoDog, and 16 at Stardust.

I've got Colts 21.80 better on a Neutral Field. So line would be Colts -19.0 at Houston assuming a 3-pt home field advantage, which makes this the BIGGEST NFL MISMATCH since 1993 when the 49ers were 24-point home faves against the Bengals. Cincy led the game at halftime 8-7 and went on to Cover in a losing effort 8-21, covering by a full 11 points.

This is pro ball and this is a very good techical spot for Houston, but the disparity between these two teams is so great that I'm not sure Houston ****** the number this year as they have in the past at home against Indy.

Then again, this game looked like an impossible cover last year too, and Houston got it done ATS. But this year is different. How will the Texans score? Plus, they no NO offensive line and are BANGED up BIG TIME.

I don't know why anyone would play this game. I understand wanting to ride the gravy train with the Colts, but this would be a good spot to lay off. It just doesn't make since to laying 2 TD's on the road in the NFL. David Carr is not Alex Smith. In fact, he had one of the league's highest Yards Per Pass Attempt last Season.

But without any protection they will be forced to attempt to run the ball, control the clock, and contain Colts scoring with a 19th ranked Pass D. With a couple lucky bounces of the ball--which they will need--they could cover.

Can't see betting money on such a bad team against such a good team. This is the worst team against the best. But I also cannot justify laying that kinda' wood on the Road in the NFL.

Big Pass for me. Too many other games on the board. Here's one:

                    MIAMI HEAT -7.5 TONIGHT
