I had the Stros and the under.with a reverse as well 3 3 nickle revrese. instead of winning 8 or 9 I lose about 7. That Hurt!thank g-d the colts got me out. I will be seeing Puljos in my sleep though!
When Houston went ahead 4 - 2 I turned it back to watch the football game. I then said to myself, I'll turn it back on just to see what happend. I was shocked and happy to see STL was winning 5 - 4. One mans bad luck is another mans good luck I guess. I had STL on the ML and Indy -13 1/2 for a two team parlay. That was one hell of a game though.
Lidge made a huuge mistake with that pitch. Cards definitely have big Mo going back to Busch. I think it will be an uphill battle for them to win one of the final two, even with Oswalt and Clemens on the bump.
WTF was brad lidge thinking with that pitch??? Up and out over the plate to pujols are you kidding me. If it wasnt for the wall that ball would have landed in the gulf of mexico. it was absolutly crushed. good lord. Houston is in trouble
Lidge choked, just like he did the night before! In game 3, Lidge got lucky with St. Louis' poor base running. Pujols tried to score from third on a weak ground ball and was thrown out. Then how could Mabry not beat the throw to first to avoid the double play and tie the game??? He must have tripped and fallen at least twice on his way to first!
Then last night, after Ekstein got the lucky base hit, Lidge fell apart. He know Pujols was on deck and couldn't throw strikes to Edmunds because he was choking his guts out.
Lidge is done for this series. Unless the Stros blow one of the next two games wide open, they lose. They can't win a close game, because they will choke.
Also, if I am Oswalt and I get the first two guys out tomorrow night, I would play a little chin music for Pujols for standing and admiring his home run (not that it wasn't admirable! What a shot!!). If I was Garner, I would tell Oswalt to hit Pujols if the first two batters are out! Clemens would hit him for sure.
I feel for u man, i saw my 80 time reverse fall down the drain. but like u glad to see the Colts and the over cover that for me (to bad that wasn't a reverse as well).
Good Luck to everyone

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!
Lidge not even coming close to throwing strikes to Edmonds was the killer. He reminded me of Byung Yung Kim
Cards crowd will be fired up and Oswalt is due for a let down after such a great game he pitched in game 2. I am a yankee fan so I am just rooting for a game 7 with the Rocket and Matt Morris. I think it would be pretty interesting
Seriously, what more can you ask for from the playoffs?? That home run was unbelievable, sittin there watchin it with some buddies, the whole room goes silent. He freakin crushed that thing. It will be very interesting to see how game 6 plays out.
Sorry about the loss, that is very tough to swallow man.
My Girlfriend LOVES the astros... I need them in the world series so i can watch it. If her team isn't on, i don't get to watch sports.
She likes Arizona basketball, so this year the tourney was great till Illinios beat them (still can't believe they blew that game). Then she had no more interest.
I told her if Houston doesn't win last night they won't go to the world series. Gonna be very hard to take another game from the Cards on the road.
Just another reason i don't like the 2-3-2 format. Doesn't give the underdog a chance, very hard to win those 3 games in the middle (i know, red sox did it).
Good Luck to everyone

Do you even know how GREAT Lidge has been lately? Get your facts straight. And Mabry has alawys been known for his blazing speed.
