My hot streak ended with a bad Saturday, going 1-1 on my big 2* plays (thank you Notre Dme) and a miserable 1-5 on my 1* plays. Sunday, I hope, will be as strong as my earlier NFL weeks.
1* Cowboys -3 (-120)
Dallas held Philly to six first downs last week. That means they should slow down the Giants potent offense. The Giants can't stop anybody. Cowboys should score 30 here and that's enough for a cover.
1* Ravens -6
It's do or die week for Baltimore. Billick beat up his team all week after last week's meltdown with 21 penalties. They'll either fold their tents for good or crush overmatched Cleveland. I'm betting on the latter.
1* Chiefs -5 1/2
Redskins have to let down at some point. They almost beat Denver but must now play their second consecutive non-conference road game. That's a tough spot. Washington never scores much so the iffy KC defense should hold them down enough for the offense to win with 27 points.
Monday night play will be written up later but is posted now because I think the line will move up another 1/2 point.
