I never got into the contender but I'll be watching it tonight hoping for a good fight. I know its gotta be better than the Jones Jr. fight I last watched. Chuck is on the other guy. So GL to you and him.

RJ....he is a tough kid no doubt.....he has heavy hands a solid chin, but he does not move his head which means he takes a beating........i trained in his dads gym in providence once....

sergio has a little more hand speed and is more of a slick fighter....both these observations were made during contender which was filmed almost 9 months ago i think.....a lot can happen since then.....my guess is that sergio has the talent to keep improving, whereas manfredo has maxed his talent out...and mostly fights on guts and balls.....sometimes that is enough....many times it is not.....and nobody likes to take those beatings to win too often.....i know...i fought like that where more times than not i had to wear them out with my face before knocking them out......very boom boom mancini like

anyways..who cares about that....the answer is i favor sergio even more than during the show....but you never know....thats why they fight and manfredo has a punchers chance...cuz he is just that .....a puncher
