Hoosier Daddy

I exposed myself to ridicule with my superstitions and a fragile psyche. It was all on me and I brought this on myself.

Yeah as it turned out we made a bundle yesterday but Hoosier please understand some of us are not exactly cutting up pennies over here. I spend 40 hours a week poring over angles , trends , systems in order to pass along games which I hope will make money for friends. I do not choose to sit on my ass all week to lose money ... that never has and will not happen.

The payout for the Iowa St. / New Mexico Money Line parlay alone was to be $7,500 - $8,000 for every Dime wagered.

Iowa St. Money Line was +180 to +200 (depending) on where you go.

New Mexico paid +210

Believe me there was a ton of dough riding on these games so any negativity really touches off certain people especially me. What can I say ? My superstitions are both a blessing and a curse.

In - Game Threads are a great idea but they should be done properly. It would be nice to know the score , who has the ball , the morale and momentum of both teams ... all that good stuff. I don't know if that is possible to do ... it takes a lot of work. It sure would be better than reading some sob stories from people who are obviously scared and use the thread to blow off smoke and frustration. I for one want the facts and I dont want to read about bitching and whining from people who should not be doing this in the first place. I hardly ever watch sporting events.

Yeah I fired out at you when I should have done nothing but count money. It was uncalled for and from now on the last place I will be is on BC while the games are going on.

I think you're a stand up guy for trying to work that out with Hoosier because i really think if anything he was with you on the play and not against.

I don't choose to get involved in the in-game nonsense but if it were me I would have been angrier about the "bad system" comment in the 1st quarter by Gecko rather than Hoosier Daddy's comments which are pretty usual for in-game bitching. Let me just first off say thank you for the plays. You have been a GREAT addition here at BC since you first showed up. I for one enjoy your posts. But this last post show why I have grown to respect you. We all have made posts that have been way out of line but it takes a real man to comeback and say you made a mistake. I am just as superstitous as you. I HATE it when people call a game a winner when it is not. My buddy did it yesterday in the MSU-OSU game while sitting on my couch. I almost decked him after the game. But cooler heads must prevail. I for one was very upset when I read your thread about Hoosier last night as I for one didn't see much wrong with it. Let bygones be bygones....no hard feelings here. For the record, I had a dime on Iowa state and had the money line for a couple hundred. But I also had a ML parlay with Northwestern and Virginia that would have paid 7500, so it's not like I was happy they lost.

As for RJ, I'm not going to get involved, but he's always been a stand up guy with me and frankly, I could care less where he gets his picks, because they win.
