I watched the 3rd period of the Colorado/Nashville game. That's NHL how I remember it in the 80s. Wide open. End to end hockey. I hope the refs don't change.

I need the Sharks frank. It's been a rough start for me in Hockey. It's not from not knowing the game. I love it, watch a ton of it, and have followed all the player movement and rule changes closely. I feel like i have a good read on it but i guess it's just an adjustment period for gamblers and players in this sport right now!

I know Wayne is a big hockey fan. Growing up on LI I was a HUGE hockey and Ranger fan. I played hockey most of my life.

There is no better live spectator sport than a hockey game especially a playoff hockey game. The ice and arena are small enough you're right on top of the action. With football if you are seated in the end zone the action is 120-130 yards away. IMO there's no comparison.

frank, I was just giving you guys chit...every thread I was in last night, you 2 guys were chatting it up...I agree, hockey is great in person & sucks on TV...I was at Stars game Tuesday night...nice but weird to see it again.

frank, How the hell do you grow up on LI and not be an Islanders fan? I know they came in the early 70's but i figured you would be a fan of their's. The Bossy, Potvin & Trottier days were BIG there in the late 70's, early 80's!
