I'm taking a risk here that this is the best line I'm going to get (just placed it at Olympic sports). I think Notre Dame has a big shot at a straight up win. Weis has had an extra week to prepare and gets USC at home in South Bend. Eventually, Southern Cal's slow starts will catch up to them. It is admittedly hard to go against USC with its great ATS reocrd but I believe they have become overvalued and that the correct line on this game should be around a pick 'em.

a pick'em....come on i would bet my house, car, my parents house on USC.....shouldn't be a close game,.....remember a lot of hype 6 games into the season, and C weis has done an amazing job, but vegas only had there team winning 6 games, they will be put to reality i am assuming, but good luck with the game, i am forsurly opposite on the game.,.....looking for USC to finally show the country they can play 4 quarters completly....and win by 30

I agree USC is overvalued. I disagree this game should be Pick. Sagarin rating has USC 99.35 and ND 83.62.

Sagarin had Wisconsin #4 in the country three weeks ago. He still has Indiana #36. When I say it should be pick'em, it is my way of saying my opinion is the game is a toss-up. I understand lines are based on power ratings and public perceptions in attempt to get bettors to wager on both sides.

I agree that USC is over-valued. I used Sagarin as a point of reference. I'll take ND with the points and intangibles. I don't think ND wins the game.

If Vegas posted the line at Pick-em I think it would be 99% played on USC.

However, they will only be "up" in the 4th quarter when they score 20 pts.

i don't understand why usc is only giving 13.5. last year they crushed nd, 41-10. usc has the same players and so does nd. what's different? usc has won a national title. people are calling usc an nfl team. why only 13.5? should be 21. what public driving the line down? the line will bounce back to 13.5, 14 by game time. couple weeks ago, lot of bc members picked missouri at home +11 over texas and got smoked. maybe this saturday will be nd +11. cuz i smell a rat. good luck gris.

ND has the some of the same players but they are far from the same team. Charlie Weis has brought a new offense in and an aura of confidence. USC is superior in maybe every phase of the game but dont turn your back on a well coached teah off a bye week at home.
