I started out by betting 2 eggs for a small wager and a half dozen for the big ones. Today, i bet alot more than that and i fade those Bastages in Las Vegas because they now lay eggs weekly!

Lifetime, Oh i don't know. My feather went dry when i was younger therefore i don't have an accurate record.

      Great question, Thanks!

            54 years of age.

            Gambling since 14 or 15.

Way ahead playing pool and cards. Way behind on sports betting.

I must say that I have always gambled for entertainment, not to make a living. I have never bet more than I could afford (except maybe a few times when I was a teenager when I bet every dime I had and then some). If I consider the value of the entertainment I have enjoyed from sports betting, I am way ahead. I have won far more playing pool and cards than I have lost betting on sports.

no doubt i have i lost more than i care to admit. been burned my many scamdicappers for lots of money. have learned alot though and dont regret it, much more disiplined now as you can see from my posted plays, i usually only play football and college baskets and only play 2-3 days a week. this site has been a huge asset in capping games and i am very grateful for it and all its contributors. nice thread savage

Hey Guys-thanks for all the great responses so far! I am of course expecting some of the overall winners to come forth also. Also, if you are an overall winner over your life, please tell us if you have always been a winner, or if not, at what point in your gambling career(I shudder to use the word "career" for such an activity) you turned it around and to what factors do you attribute your success.
ps I know for Spark 143 years is a long time to reflect upon but do your best.

                      I'm 42
Been gambling since I was 15.....Played horses at the local track.

I honestly think I'm somewhere around even for my life. I've never lost a whole lot at one time, and never won a bunch. I made two $1k bets and lost each one at different times. I also hit a $2 exacta at the track for $1200 and hit 4 blackjacks in a row at an Indian casino that paid me an extra $1k.

I'm a VERY disciplined gambler and rarely chase losses. When I start to lose I cut my units waaaay back. That has helped out a lot. I go on big time losing streaks and big time winning ones. So I've come to know that chasing my losses when on a losing streak will surely lose me a bundle....
