i swear a couple years ago when i used to bet on hockey, there used to be lines. like -1/2, or -1, or even up to -2 1/2. now all i see if -160, -220, like baseball. did it change?

I made a puckline wager at -1.5 on the NJ Devils on opening night got it at +200 and they won 5-1. Only other bets i have made on hockey are 3 others that wayne put out and they all won.. 4-0 for me on hockey lol

I wouldn't put a penny on the Blues. They truely suck. I think their string of making the playoffs could seriously be in jeopardy this year. They won't be spending any money on any good players til they are sold. Could be long season for hockey fans in St Louis. FWIW

Yes new rules this year, no ties.
So the only lines you will see is ML and -1.5.
Most books offer only one of the 2. Pinnacle has both.

my local guy uses the puckline unless you ask for the money line.
tonite on pinnacle the flyers are -165. he has a pick.
in fact he has all games tonite a pick except dallas he has them at -1 puck.

i know what you are thinking, but i have been burned more than once on these hockey lines that look too good.

L.A Kings-140 Edmonton hasnt lost yet off road win and the line is this high.

Montreal-114 Ottawa is really good. But I like this habs team. Hasek is sitting
tonight. Big win for the Sens last night against the hated Leafs.
Montreal will be pumped for this game .

St.Louis +106 Home team with decent price Ill take a chance on the Blues.



At first look I liked Philly. But the Leafs are banged up getting killed by the press and no one gives them a chance tonight. They seem to play there best during controversy
It will be a game to watch with Lindros first game against the Flyers, should be interesting.
